iHeartMedia is looking for an experienced Account Specialist. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between all of the internal departments staffed to a project. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.

Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills, a working knowledge of the media and creative agency landscape, be an innovative thinker who is up to date on emerging trends and technology, and have a strong sense of urgency.

We are looking for a unique candidate who is a creative and savvy marketer who is skilled at project management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with VP, Strategic Partnership to provide day-to-day support of assigned accounts ensuring client campaigns, reports and projects are being progressed and delivered on time, on budget and to the highest creative and strategic standard.

  • Support account strategy to help generate renewals on sold business and identify new opportunities for upsells

  • Manage the launch of programs once sold, confirming all media, executing signed contracts, communicating final details to all internal teams.

  • Lead the management of projects and campaigns across internal departments (communications, media, creative)

  • Handle billing and reporting (internal & external)

  • Closely monitor and surface client strategies to internal teams

  • Responsible for finalizing media plan & making adjustments to media plan post sale

  • Bridge position between sales lead & post sale brand activation/content team

  • Attend sales meetings and conference calls with SVP’s and VP’s or alone and clearly detail developments and next steps

  • Broaden internal relationships across multiple internal divisions including Marketing, Activation, Events, Programming and Media.

  • Sales strategy & campaign/event execution.

  • Detailed account management via SalesForce, Marketing Requests, and Outlook

  • Responsible for cultivating a strong working relationships with client and internal departments

  • Handle back of house elements including: identifying and collaborating on research, billing responsibilities, media planning and actualization.

  • Fluency using PowerPoint and Excel. Photoshop a plus

Candidate should have:

  • Working experience either working for, or closely with, media and creative agencies

  • Detailed oriented excellent project management skills.

  • Client-facing experience – excellent written and verbal skills

  • Upbeat, entrepreneurial attitude

  • Ability to manage project effectively while juggling various projects at once

  • Resourceful, adaptive and flexible; willing to relentlessly iterate and improve

  • Ability to handle a wide range of activities including joining sales meetings, contributing to campaign maintenance & evolving strategy, leading partnership kick off calls and having a constant focus on what will drive renewal conversations and meaningful reporting both internally & externally.
