Job Summary:

The Director of Digital Sales Development is responsible for the team developing compelling digital and cross-platform advertising strategies for iHeartMedia clients across multiple categories. This role is a key function that will help guide progressive and creative campaign elements that advertisers expect from iHeartMedia.

We are seeking a candidate with prior management experience who thrives in a fast paced environment. This candidate has strong storytelling and writing skills, but can also understand and leverage data. This candidate has prior experience utilizing social distribution tactics to leverage scale and reach for marketing campaigns as well as integrating branded content techniques within programs. They will also have polished written and oral communication skills to communicate their ideas to sales partners and clients effectively. Collaboration is key as they will be working with Sales, Packaging, Research, Creative Services and Product Teams.

This role will lead the team that supports the sales organization through development of proposals and pitch decks across multiple ad categories.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of the digital ideas in internal brainstorms

  • Creates and develops proposal decks and any supporting materials needed

  • Works with internal stakeholders to ensure proper campaign execution

  • Mentoring and training small team of sales development managers


  • Minimum 5 years of sales marketing experience in a digital environment

  • Experience across multiple adverting categories

  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently tell marketing stories

  • Expert at PowerPoint and has working knowledge of Photoshop

  • Intense time management and able to multi-task effectively

  • Creative problem solver that can quickly pinpoint client needs

  • Passion for music a plus
