Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Digital Analytics & Optimization is responsible for developing an operational structure around iHeartMedia’s portfolio of digital assets. In partnership with Sales/Marketing leadership at iHeartMedia, the candidate will define and document all elements of the digital portfolio. This includes determining an appropriate cost-per / gaurentee structure for new products, including social, branded content, podcasts, traditional, and emerging media. The Sr Manager will also oversee the development of benchmarks, distribution tactics and optimization strategies to meet the demand of the media marketplace to drive revenue. This role will collaborate across multiple departments to ensure digital tactics are well defined and documented and that digital items are appropriately accounted for in integrated programs.

We are seeking a candidate that is a proven star in the media/marketing solutions space. This candidate will have the ability to translate details into targeted media solutions and can understand and leverage data and insights to build an analytical case for our digital solutions. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong background and working knowledge of the digital media marketplace with platforms such as Snapchat, YouTube, etc. This is a new role and we’re looking for a self-starter who can help us create operational excellence and drive revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Sales Development and Packaging teams to support our cutting-edge proposals, guiding them on placement recommendations and distribution elements that accurately match client requests

  • Use quantitative analysis to determine value-maximizing approaches, collaborate across groups to identify pricing and revenue opportunities; make recommendations to senior management on ROI on custom programs

  • Meet deadlines and deliverables for all proposals

  • Support packaging of digital product offerings and tailor positioning to key verticals as appropriate

  • Assist in the development of revenue opportunities with new strategic digital ad products and sponsorships/partnerships

  • Track the performance of packages via available metrics and marketplace feedback in order to inform and optimize go-forward efforts

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years-experience in media planning and/or account management, preferably on publisher side

  • Proven ability to put together effective and efficient distribution tactics that meet goals outlined in RFP requests

  • A strong understanding of how to leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to deliver advertising solutions

  • An ability to manage challenging and complex projects and build consensus in a multi-layered organization

  • Thorough understanding of progressive marketing/partnership tactics including branded content

  • Strong Excel skills, knowledge of Salesforce, Operative One, DFP, Omniture a plus

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple priorities

  • Good grasp of industry trends, technologies, and platforms
