Clear Channel Outdoor
Performs tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. This position also requires welding certification in addition to the other essential functions listed
Reports to Crew Chief
Construct, install, maintain, upgrade, and remove outdoor advertising structures under the direction of crew chief.
Operate independently and fill in for crew chief
Operate trucks, cranes and other heavy equipment, valid driver’s license and NCCCO certification.
Responsible for their portion of required paperwork related to the implementation and completion of a job. Including but not limited to: time cards, work orders, safety-compliance, and vehicle and equipment inspections.
Responsible for assisting crew chief to address all issues that arise on sites with little or no assistance from branch. First line of support is Quantum Regional Manager.
Able to work alone or in crew with minimal supervision.
Is required to have a valid CDL driver’s license and a valid NCCCO certification.
Travel and Overtime is required.
Install, remove and rotate outdoor advertising displays and extensions consisting of vinyl, wood or other material or Quantum Regional Manager.
Must be able to read load charts and blue prints, have essential math skills.
Able to perform inspections
Organizing daily work schedule including employees and contractors under supervision of crew chief.
Maintaining assigned vehicle including repair, maintenance, cleaning, organize and stock for each job.
Able to supervise multiple employees.
Ensure all specialty tools are available when required.
Able to give and understand crane hand signals
Ensuring the job is complete, jobsite is clean and organized. All Material is primed and painted before leaving the job site.
Support crew chief in planning and organizing equipment and personnel.
Load and unload truck shipments
Works effectively in a team environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Climbing ladders and/or stairs and work at elevations from 10 feet to more than 100 feet
Lifting and positioning ladders, safety equipment and materials in excess of 85 pounds
Standing, bending, stooping, lifting, positioning, holding, pushing and pulling self, materials and equipment in excess of 85 pounds
Use pulleys, lifts, slings and other equipment required for elevated work
Operating welding equipment, chain saws, jack hammers, air impacts and various other equipment and hand tools
Hoists, aligns, erect, lift, sets and assembles structural steel and sign components
Driving and operating trucks, cranes, vans and other equipment associated with the job
Digging and shoveling of various soils concrete and fill materials. EDUCATION AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid CDL, NCCCO Certification
Comprehend and communicate complex oral and written instructions.
Basic computer skills.
