Identifies and develops new business opportunities; keeps and grows existing client relationships; offers solutions that help clients achieve their business goals; closes business; meets set sales target. Proposes and creates innovative advertising campaigns for new or current major customers to increase advertising sales revenue.

Serve as a liaison between client stations and their customers; the advertising agencies spot media departments and/or media buying services.
Build and maintain close relationships with all key agencies and direct clients.
Utilize and position qualitative data, market data and competitive information to grow market share.
Successfully negotiate business on behalf of stations, know the competition and maintain control of negotiations.
Develop integrated media programs utilizing on-air, digital/mobile and on-site assets.
Research and develop new revenue for client stations.
Effectively communicate all components of sales to internal management and to clients.
Analyze potential problems and recommend solutions to management team.
Determines project pricing based on guidelines from management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms
Adept at prospecting and using effective consultative selling principles and practices
Strong client service relationship-building skills
Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi task in a fast-paced environment
Negotiation and closing proficiency
Persuasive communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
Independent; self-motivated; competitive; assertive
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Understanding of market dynamics including demographics
Stress tolerance especially with tight deadlines and financial pressures

Required Work + Education Experience:
1 - 3 years in media/advertising is preferred, but not required
