About the Team

The Account Management team at iHeart partners with all facets of the iHM family to provide our top clients with white-glove account management service.

About the Position

The Account Manager role in New York is a critical member of the Account Management team. The foundation and key expectations around the role will be to support the Account Directors and partner with Sales leads in all sales and media-related functions – client requests, proposal submissions, cross-division media planning and inventory management. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with project management, media planning and execution of campaigns across multiple broadcast, digital, and on-site platforms. This person should come in each day looking for ways to optimize key programs for our top clients. A typical day requires balancing a wide range of activities including joining client meetings, contributing to campaign maintenance & evolving strategy, leading internal communications across various teams including billing, marketing, activations and sales, building campaign recaps, collecting and organizing airchecks, searching for competitive info and maintaining a constant focus on what will drive renewal conversations and meaningful reporting both internally & externally. A strong knowledge of cross platform media planning and how brands show up at events will be critical to the success of this team. It is important to note that the role will also handle back of house elements including but not limited to: identifying and collaborating on research, media planning and actualization, and more. Strong communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal sales teams and other departments within iHeartMedia. Success in this position will rely heavily on the ability and willingness to support and contribute to creative cross-platform selling and execution from the ground up, become an indispensable resource to SVP’s, VP’s and Account Directors and ultimately our client and agency relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales leads in to provide materials for Proposals/Avail submissions including media recommendations, research, competitive data, and advise on what is technically and logistically feasible to execute.

  • Transition Lead – owner of all materials, communications and logistics when campaign or project is sold.

  • Upon sale, confirm all media, executing signed contracts, communicating final details to all internal teams.

  • Facilitate the combination of all final media plans from all iHM departments and track any changes made post sale

  • Owner and leader of weekly internal and/or external campaign status meetings – agenda and next steps

  • Lead all client/agency communications regarding media & tactical elements when appropriate

  • Handle back of house elements including: identifying and collaborating on research, media planning and actualization

  • Broaden internal relationships across multiple internal divisions including Marketing, Activation, Events, Programming and Media.

  • Work alongside Account Director and Marketing Solutions lead to generate key strategies and ideas to deliver on KPIs of assigned accounts

  • Attend sales meetings and conference calls with Sales Leads, Account Directors or alone and clearly detail developments and next steps

  • Closely monitor and surface client strategies to internal teams

  • Facilitate Weekly and Monthly Revenue Reports – internal and external

  • Coordinate communications across NSMP Billing departments

  • Facilitate post-campaign recaps, reporting/delivery metrics

  • When appropriate, and on case-by-case basis, create marketing materials/pitch decks.

  • Constantly seek and identify opportunities to build and grow key account partnerships

  • Help create unique added value opportunities to ensure fulfillment and client satisfaction

  • If needed, lead local seller education of overarching partnership­ organize monthly calls, approve local media plans, etc.

  • Owner of all post-campaign reporting/delivery metrics and materials – working directly with Activation. Sales Ops and Creative Production teams.

  • Owner of all post-mortem internal and external meetings and communications.

  • 3+ years of project and/or campaign management

  • Experience working with multiple client accounts

  • Extremely proactive and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and campaigns in a timely manner

  • Excellent client service and verbal/written communication skills

  • Results-driven with strong analytical skills

  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge across various internal departments

  • Understanding of Media Buying and Reporting

  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Strong ability to be a pivot position handling client & company goals
