Support most aspects of the HR Department, including supporting and retaining top talent; developing and interpreting policies, procedures and HR programs and benefits.
Handles sensitive and confidential employee issues.
Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and Employee Relations (ER) leaders and team including calendar management.
Responsible for a variety of responsibilities and projects in the areas of Business Partner Relations, Employee Relations and Leaves of Absence.
Supports Employee Relations initiatives and related reporting needs.
Supports company-wide Human Resource initiatives.
Maintains records and databases/tracking systems by partnering and coordinating with the Employee Relations and Leave of Absence teams, including archive activities.
Prepares reports, analysis, and summaries.
Maintains functional knowledge of state and federal employment labor laws, workers’ compensation, Occupational (OSHA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), benefit programs and regulatory requirements.
Assists leadership with business/client requests.
May perform and deliver verbal and written communications.
Demonstrates courteous, friendly and efficient service to team members and internal clients.
Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite of products with emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Excellent organizational skills and effective ability to prioritize competing obligations for a variety of customers.
Ability to work effectively in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment producing quality work product on time and with minimal supervision.
Strong time management skills; adept at setting priorities and managing deadlines.
Working knowledge of Workday preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
