The Senior Software Engineer Tech Lead will be responsible for managing maintenance development, problem management and retirement planning for major applications used by iHeart employees to traffic radio ads and fulfill media plans and orders.
Guides, mentors and leads an engineering team, including remote resources
Lead complex production deployment activities which require a coordinated approach between multiple delivery teams and ensure that technical deployment do not disrupt business processes
Continuously reduce the cost of testing and cost of quality across all software engineering teams
Manage maintenance development in an agile process from backlog prioritization up to sprint deployment
Prioritize maintenance development with business owners and establish a trusted relationship with the business teams
Develop and execute an application portfolio rationalization roadmap.
Analysis of user requirements
Communicate technical information effectively with peers and clients or management on a weekly basis
5+ years of professional software development experience.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience in Agile/Scrum software development practices.
Experience in application database design and development using relational databases
Experience with .NET, C#, MSSQL, Linux, Java
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience working with a distributed team
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team player
Track record of delivering quality software using industry best practices in all aspects of the software development process.
Experience working with QA, management and other stakeholders in an agile environment.
